I’m So Glad You’re Here

I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that you’ve found Zee’s little corner on the Internet. If you’re here, that means you’re at least familiar with The Zee Files. Zee’s adventures began almost 15 years ago in the Mackenzie Blue series. I can’t tell you how much fun I’ve had creating these stories and adventures for Zee and her friends.

 

I’m often asked how I come up with these stories. My path to book writing was certainly not traditional. While I have a degree in Journalism, I spent over 20 years working in media and marketing. I definitely think it’s prepared me for a full-time writing career, though! Writing is about curiosity for me. It’s about bringing stories to life that my readers want to read. It’s about setting the stage just right for the big adventure to unfold. 

 

I hope that you always take the path that leads you in the direction of your deepest curiosity. Seek the big adventures in life and follow your deepest passions. People may not always understand, they may tell you that your career is “not traditional” or that they don’t get it, but that’s ok. As long as you’re living your dream and building the life that you want, that’s all that matters. 

 

Zee is honest, she’s real, and she’s just trying to figure out how to become the person she wants to be. Can you relate? I sure can!
